that was more like a suicide run for me, never do anything liek that again. Can't even remember what the clocks were . They must have been stupidly high
I'm hopefully getting a new motherboard soon, should allow me to overclock the CPU although it will only be to like 2.5-2.8GHz most likely.

Sounds good to me.

btw if you are going to atempt beating that Unigine score I'd max the core/shader as much as you can while leaving the memory at stock, then maybe raise the memory..

I've benched at 930 on that card but I don't think that would get you the extra FPS D;
Thanks

And yeah, I was planning on running benchmarks with different memory speeds, etc. but haven't got round to it yet.

Anyway, you will be added

Thats a good idea to have a leaderboard on the first page. Not sure how it will work with just me updating everything though, lol.
If we do a leaderboard then it will have to be with one benchmark, I dont think I would be able to update so many parts on my own :/.

Is there a way to give another member the rights to edit your post or something?
Lol thanks, like I said though it'd be awkward to even take a pic of it inside my rig at the moment. I can't be bothered to turn it off and unplug all the cables then get a light so that it's actually visible.

I do have a picture I took of the box, though:

It's not possible. Believe me.

My vote's with Heaven as well, preferably not anything above 1680x1050 though because that's my monitor's max resolution.

And as for heaven validation? Do they have a validation system like 3DMark? If not then what about if people take a photo of their monitor after running the bench?
How about we just take a screenshot of our whole screen, with our username either in the address bar of the Heaven results HTML or in a notepad document beside it?

MSI GTX 460 Hawk @ 780c/1560s/3600m

don't have a good enough camera to take a photo, so i'll have to supply an Afterburner / GPU-Z validation. hope thats OK?

Yo iceblade, was wondering when you would show up

I meant to recommend that people talk to you, what with you being a mod and having a 460

As I understand it, people ITT who I've forgotten the usernames of wanted to see if it was possible to make a post so that it can be edited by multiple people. Can I/we safely assume that's not possible?

what are the settings we all have to conform to for the heaven bench?

Made us a banner guys, and we need to run our benchmarks on a small res something like 1024x768 or something i dont know, but we all need to agree on a res.

I would recommend something like:

DX11
3D Disabled
Shaders high
Tesselation moderate
Anisotropy 16
Anti-aliasing 4x
Full screen
1920x1080

I realised just now that you can run it at resolutions not supported by your monitor. 1920x1080 is a decent resolution, fairly common too. And higher resolutions put more stress on the GPU and less on the CPU iirc.

Enter those settings into the pop-up box at the start, then leave everything else at default inside the benchmark.

But that's just my recommendation - what do you guys think?

EDIT: Awesome banner Rowey, pretty sure that at lower resolutions the CPU gets more usage, instead of the GPU. And even if you've got a 1024x768 monitor, you can still run a 1920x1080 benchmark, you just won't be seeing all the pixels on the screen. But the GPU will still be rendering them.

EDIT 2: OK, looks like that doesn't work in full screen. You can still run a higher res than your monitor's in a window, though. How about we go for something like:

DX11
3D Disabled
Shaders high
Tesselation extreme
Anisotropy 16
Anti-aliasing 8x
Windowed
1280x720
