And higher resolutions put more stress on the GPU and less on the CPU iirc. Enter those settings into the pop-up box at the start, then leave everything else at default inside the benchmark. ![]() But that's just my recommendation - what do you guys think? EDIT: Awesome banner Rowey, pretty sure that at lower resolutions the CPU gets more usage, instead of the GPU. And even if you've got a 1024x768 monitor, you can still run a 1920x1080 benchmark, you just won't be seeing all the pixels on the screen. But the GPU will still be rendering them. EDIT 2: OK, looks like that doesn't work in full screen. You can still run a higher res than your monitor's in a window, though. How about we go for something like: DX11 3D Disabled Shaders high Tesselation extreme Anisotropy 16 Anti-aliasing 8x Windowed 1280x720 |
