Build Complete and Stable

Hey guys, here it is:

i7 2600K at 4.5 GHz @ 1.38
Asus P67 Deluxe
Corsair Vengence 8 GB DDR3 1600
EVGA 580's SLI 830/2120
2 WD 1TB Blacks
Venomous X with two 120 mm Blue LED fans
Silver Rated 1000 Watt Silver Stone PSU
Silver Stone Fortress 02TB

A few things: this kicks 3D Visions ass. That was the main reason for the upgrade. I started the build with Gigabytes UD7, and it was a POS. Insanely buggy BIOS (even after update) and all around unpleasant. So even if they are normally good, I personally will never buy them again.

There were a few kinks when I installed the new Asus board, but after a few days, got it to were a like it. CPU can overclock to its wall, 4.7, but like I usually do with OCing, find the max then shave it off a bit. Just something I do. I had quite a few problems with SLI, but after updating drivers, and fiddling with the SLI cable, seems to be good now.

The biggest surprise to this build was the case, it is amazing and really fun to work with. The 90 degree rotation to the mobo it does is very cool.

So I will be sticking with this system for a while to come, and just want to thank the site and the people for all the help (posts made in my threads and posts on other threads) Cheers to a civil, informative site!

ps ignore my sig, will update when I learn to make it conform to the way most members here have their sigs (layout wise)

to edit sig go to user cp then click system on left hand side.

Great build btw but I am totally shocked your ud7 was bad since they are like the best boards available atm. the deluxe is right behind it. Can I ask why you got deluxe over pro of evo?

I'm so jealous of that computer. Please tell me on a scale of 1-10, how fast is that 4.5 Ghz 2600k? And coupled with SLi 580's? That's just stupid speed.

You add your system in your control panel.

Also, nice build! All you need now is a good SSD and you're set .

Thanks guys...Ya I am not too sure about SSD's yet...they just don't seem worth the price...but I am thinking of getting a Bluray burner, as I have a lot of music I would not want to lose (I have it on 3 HD's total...but still)

edit: updated computer signature
