Thank you.

I will test it outside the case with some paper and shake it many times .. Let's hope it works.

I just got an ek rad for christmas and had the exact same problem. the screws the send with it are too long. I ended up buying a new xspc rad. I want to fix my ek rad now and add that to the loop. thanks for posting this!

God damn it it's still leaking there's another one on the other side just no comment ek rads worst thing ever. How dumb and retarded do you have to be to put this under the hole where the screw goes and also provide you with a screw that is extremely long... *******.

Well, the tubes run through the whole rad. Anyway the screws for most rads are slightly loner than required and a good way to make sure you dont do it again would be to use a credit card between the screw hole on the rad and the rad body and then stop screwing the bolt when you hit the card....hope that helps...

I would love all rad manufacturers to use a small metal bit under the screw hole, like they have in the GTS series.

I know ;( wasn't expecting them to have it there didn't even think about it. Those guys really picked the most pathetic place srsly... On top of that they give u long screws to help you destroy your rad. I will just buy a new one not ek of course.. If it doesn't work tomorrow when we fix the other hole leak thing

Rad comes with 2 sets of diferent length screws, reason being so that you can fit diferent thickness fans. You probabily rammed the longer set on screws into a 25-30mm thickness fan and pierced the **** out of it. :/
Im guessing you will have then pierced it twelve times!
Next time i advise you to double check the screws, also you can buy a 7 or 8mm rubber spacer to put between the fans and the rad, these are good because it not only absorbs vibration but also work as a duct since creates a small gap between the rad and fans.

Wish you the best of luck

I dont know how ek would send screws to long i know with both my xspc rx360 and rx240 i got a long screw thats just enugh to go in when a 25mm fan is attached and a small one for when no fan. Lune what size fans where you trying to use when you put the screws in to much most rad screws are made for a 25mm fan and a few mm to attach it to the case then they barely even go in the rad.

I've used JB weld to fix my KX500 radiator when I sandwiched it, it worked pretty well, but still leaked very very slowly. My soldering repairs on the water cooling rads have been permanent.

You don't have to pinch the rad tube flat like that video, solder can actually bridge a pretty good gap.

I would always try to solder first if possible, it's how the rad was built, so you're using the same permanent methods. JB weld will probably work fine as well, but not as good.

This is why I custom make the screws that I put into my rad... thank you ace hardware... and the common grinder...

Sucks about your rad bro... If I would have used the screws that came with my rad the same exact thing would have happend to me but I never use their crap... I guess I could have cut their screws but it didn't even seem like they fit right or screwed in right... so I bought my own...
