No, that would be saying that only ATI users install/uninstall their drivers wrong, thus causing the problems. If driver problems were only caused because of user error, then the results of the poll would be equal for both ATI and Nvidia, as saying that only ATI users can't install their drivers right is illogical. Furthermore, it is not opinion when there are polls backing the OP.

0% of those votes are mine, so evidently it's you, the OCN community that has issues with ATI drivers. Don't look at me, I just set the polls up, you guys did the rest. The vote was public too, so you can find out who voted

How does AMD end up with twice as many votes as NVIDIA? Please explain this with a logical answer you ignorant troll.

If 10 000 people voted for Nvidia and 20 000 people voted for ATI, it wouldn't make any significant difference on the average score of the drivers.

Now if you were talking about a sampling bias or a sampling error, then you'd be right
I actually was talking about that and didn't mean to use the "vs." in my post.

There is bias all over those polls and you are either too much of a douche to admit it or too stupid to realize it.

No, you're the loser who has nothing better to do but create biased polls and troll threads about a company's software you don't even use.

I don't care about what you don't care about man, shut up with that already. And sure.. coming from the guy with a GTX 280, how much did you pay for that thing anyway? Whatever it was, I'm sure my 6850s were cheaper.

The thread was more popular so people had more opportunities to vote. There are far more views on the ATI thread than the Nvidia one. Maybe it just happened to pop up in the "latest discussions" box more often so people clicked on it more. This in turn led to more posts in the thread, which bumps it up to a higher position in the latest discussion box, and the cycle repeats again. The Nvidia thread probably disappeared from that box, and since now less people see that thread there is a lesser chance of people posting thus a lesser chance of it getting more views and opportunities for people to vote.
edit: You can see this effect by the trend that people tend to post in "bursts." For example, when I posted what I wrote above, I bought this thread into the latest discussion box, allowing a sudden influx of viewers who then posted, as you can see by how recent the posts are after mine (they are only separated by a few minutes). The ATI thread had more of these bursts, plus more people have issue with their drivers allowing them to be more vocal about it (and thus bumping the ATI thread again causing more bursts of posts and consequently more opportunities for votes).

You also have to remember that people who don't have problems with products typically don't say anything about them. However, if they have problems, they tend to complain. For example, how many threads do you see with something alone these lines: "I got my new card, it's working perfectly fine. Thank you for taking your time to click on this."

GTX280 was a beast of a card. That almost three year old card will hold it's own against one of your cards and probably clocks better.

Since there are so many more votes on the ATI/AMD poll it seems that some people just voted to make them look bad, you can't rely on the votes for an accurate assessment.

Don't ask me, ask the people who voted

Maybe the Nvidia forum was busier than the ATI one, so more people saw it and voted for it. Maybe more people own ATI cards than Nvidia cards. Maybe more ATI (or former ATI users) felt the need to voice their opinion on ATI drivers. Maybe trolls gave low scores to ATI. Maybe Nvidia users don't feel the need to vote about their drivers. Maybe there's more frustrated ATI users than Nvidia users?

I knew exactly what the problem might be (sampling bias, sampling error). You were too stupid too even call it that

These poll numbers are hardly scientific, but they're more accurate than you think.

HELP, what are the best drivers for a 5770, 11.1 gave me a BSOD when installing and I was left with NO drivers, got 10.12 working again but sometimes it clocks my RAM to 1420MHz and crashes my system and generally has a buggy feel to it!

No, it simply reflects the larger number of views the thread received. If 100 people received an opportunity for a poll, you would expect more results than if 50 people received it, all other things being equal, right?
