Maybe the Nvidia forum was busier than the ATI one, so more people saw it and voted for it. Maybe more people own ATI cards than Nvidia cards. Maybe more ATI (or former ATI users) felt the need to voice their opinion on ATI drivers. Maybe trolls gave low scores to ATI. Maybe Nvidia users don't feel the need to vote about their drivers. Maybe there's more frustrated ATI users than Nvidia users?
Could be but who knows

I really dont think that insulting people is going to help you. "trolling" grow up.

Also information from polls can be contorted to suite ones own agenda, like what you have done right here. But add to that since we don't know about other contributing factors it doesn't equate to much.

Not really, I bought what I could afford and I love them. I also haven't had many if any issues. AMD have lifted their game quite a lot recently.

So you hold your hand out to mommy and daddy and they give you money to have a beast "to shut your whinging up", and you think that gives you the right to insult people.

I think you name is fitting i7 Monkey for a monkey at a type writer could come up with better material than you. It is people like you that bring this site down. This type of tom foolery is not necessary here.

I think that you could do with quite a bit of growing up before you posted this flame bait.

As for clocks these cards can achieve 920/1150 @ stock voltage, and even more once I add voltage.

Gotcha on the popularity view point, but almost anyone (including the troll who started this mess) can just vote negatively against AMD even though they've never dealt with their products or just simply prefer NVIDIA and the fact that the AMD poll recieved more views/votes only strengthens the chances of its results being unjust.

Here's the link to the ATI drivers poll results, view it and please don't even try to deny the fact that many of those voters are NVIDIA users (look at thier sig rigs).

The only cards I've ever had issues with are NVidia cards. List of cards I've had in the house/owned (either a family member or myself):
- 8800 Ultra -- Piece of crap. Didn't function well, overheated.
- GTS 250 -- Piece of crap. Drivers failing. Overheats.
- 7600 GT -- It runs well, quite impressive on an old AGP p4 rig.
- GTX 460 -- Had to return it. Ran hot, drivers were crashing, card caused system instability.

ATI cards we've owned:
- Some old old old thing that was made by a company called "exstacy" I believe. Can't even remember how old it is, but I just remember a very old card running well ^_^
- Radeon 5750 -- runs wonderfully (work computer for my dad)
- Radeon 5770 xfire -- runs great (downstairs family computer)
- Radeon 6970 -- excellent card

Not trying to flame but I voted in that pole and why my sig is currently Nvidia I ran ati pretty exclusively for the last year and a half along with some other rigs with older Nvidia cards in them.

I'll be honest I switched because I noticed an increase in glitches in my games and that all went away when I switched over to Nvidia (not that I haven't experienced problems in the past with Nvidia both have their ups and downs).

I gave it a six in that pole. Back when I was running 4870's and before bfbc2 came out I would've given amd drivers a 10. Take my opinion for what's it's worth.

Cheers .

Ok enough feeding the troll for me, he is obviously too pathetic and childish to be taken seriously anymore.

Useless thread has been reported.

lol poor thread. has been hacked apart ive owned a 460 and now my current card and id say the problems are just windows being broken half the time. both cards only had problems when my cousin tried stuffing around with windows on my pc when i wasnt near my computer.... it actually works until he touched it. so i think they are fine

That matters why? ATI had a $700+ video card on the market this year. I paid less than I did for my 6950 for that GTX280 two years ago and not much more than I did for a 6870 which it would trade blows in a few games with. Now that was two years ago while you were using what?

My card run all day at 750mhz on the core without touching the voltage, thats almost a 25% overclock.

That was/is a beast of a card and when your cards don't scale that almost 3 year old card might perform better. I would never recommend crossfire over a solid single gpu solution.

You have no idea what you are talking about man, a 6870 and GTX 280 DO NOT TRADE BLOWS (maybe in a select few nvidia titles).. and a 6850 is faster then a GTX 280, slightly, but it's definitely faster. Go do some research pal and save me the hassle, please. As for scaling 6850s in crossfire scale insanely, outperforming even that $700+ video card you speak of and trump it once you start overclocking.

I'm sorry if I may have offended your almighty god the GTX 280 but it's old tech now and you need to move on, it runs too hot while consuming as much power as both of my cards in crossfire. Are you done now?
