I don't want the fusion icon. It's ugly and I shouldn't need it lol

How do you get it to run normally? Make your own bin/script?

I have to start the icon and then quit.

I tried putting compiz --replace ccp in my start up applications but then none of my icons show up in the top panel on my right screen.

What happens if you manually run compiz --replace ccp? Is there any way you can run it without the icon?

That works but it doesn't work when I put it in start up applications. Maybe I'll just make a script like:

Code:
#! /bin/bash
sleep 5
compiz --replace ccp

lol I was going to suggest just running a script like you posted. =( I was at school though and couldn't reply. Sad. Good thing it works now though.
