Could google ever topple microsoft? - Page 3

Google hasn't really tried to challenge Microsoft. They know Windows is the obvious vendor for the average PC and Laptop. Instead they are trying to challenge the likes of Linux, Ubuntu, and maybe even Mac. Their OS is going to be operated in the cloud, and is strictly targeting people who just browse the web.

Personally I don't think Google has the stupidity or the balls to challenge a giant like Microsoft at something like Desktops and Laptops. They know Microsoft has got it down now and don't want to risk it, so they are attacking the minority like Linux and are making products for low end PC's and netbooks.....

Well I was thinking about driver support. Didn't know if android has all the necessary drivers available to run a full on laptop.
