sli gpu placement?

let say i get a twin frozer 2 and i have a reference card

now if i want to sli them,

do i place the reference 1st or on the bottom and take in all the hot air blowing out of frozer?

or other way around?

is it better to get 2 reference then?

if i OC 1 of the cards, do i need to OC the other one @ the same speed?

I would put the reference card in the very bottom pci-e slot and the twin frozr card in the top slot, all heat from the reference card will go out the back.

When using SLI both cards get overclocked together.

Just make sure you have a side fan or something providing good air flow to that area of the case and you will be good, remember heat rises, so the reference card will only get fresh air if you have a side fan.

Just saw the phantom part, You should have good enough exhaust from the 200mm fan that all heat will go straight up and out without an issue.

The phantom has amazing air flow.

you shouldn't need to mount a 200mm if you don't have to.
leave the 200mm at the top of the case.

If you need more air flow for the video cards then you can buy an extra 200mm and install it on the side panel, the case comes with screws to mount a fan plus the fan filter.
