I am getting this error on my ASUS netbook 1001ha, it doesnt have a cd drive so i dont know how to solve the problem.

I have tried resetting the bios and everything....what could the problem be..

I was just uninstalling programs and it turned off and came up with this error when i tried to turn it back on.

To me that sounds like a hard-drive failure. It can't find the hard-drive to boot from and hence why it complains about selecting proper boot device.

Have you tried running a disk repair with the OS install disk?
