Good Quality Micro ATX Power Supply

Thread Starter
Hello. I have a computer with a horrible 220W power supply. It has a micro atx case. Most of the micro atx power supplies are ****. Can anybody recommend me a good one over 300W?

Would that work in a slimline? Or should I just invest in a new case?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-090-_-Product I think that will fit.... As for above 300w there's none that I personally know of. You should be able to run any card with a <150w TDP on that Seasonic.

This is a TFX size power supply.

This one and this one are SFX sized power supplies. The 300W has a protruding fan, which makes it not work with some cases (for instance Pixxo slim mATX case, Apex MI-008 case).

Note that all three Seasonic PSUs listed are really good quality and can support quite a lot of hardware. I once had the 350W SFX model running a system with a GTX 260!

So, DrStrongBad, is your "micro ATX" power supply SFX or TFX?

If you're not sure, post a link to the case, or pics.

TFX is what you usually find in slimline cases, atleast in my experience.
