I've just noticed that the ram you are using has not been officially tested for your mobo (just checked ASUS & GSkill sites). Although the ram was working during one period, it could be a possibility that you might need to buy some more memory. If you decide to, I recommend selecting ram that has been tested for that mobo. Go to ASUS site to see the tested memory.

If I were you, I would buy some more memory (that has been tested for the mobo) and see if it will work. If it does, problem solved. If not, I would then say it's the mobo. It might be less hassel to go with that direction instead of immediately RMA'ing the mobo (you would know this better than I would due to your circumstances).
