Mushkin RAMs not performing

Thread Starter
Hello,

My BIOS memory page:

A guy able to hit 2200 on the same sticks I bought.

Settings:

7-9-7-24-32 1T @ 1699MHz 1.65v
FSB 255

Everything else is underclocked. I cannot get this thing to boot. I've tried over volting everything. Still won't boot. I'm convinced it's something with the RAM although I don't know what to try. Total RAM noob. Please help.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, 250 FSB boots fine with 12 hour Prime blend backing it.

Raise the tRCD
Most PSC or Elpida BBSE don't like low tRCD (RAS to CAS R/W delay)

Wow, what wonders a BIOS update can do.

Thanks xd_1771!

that might be it. Earlier BIOSes had problems with some CPU-NB multipliers and RAM settings I believe on that board with the Phenom II x6.

I'm sticking with this awesome board until the 990X chipset comes out (or maybe even a bit later). Hopefully Gigabyte can provide a suitable alternative similar to the current one
