GPU Windows rating down after SSD install

Thread Starter
I just installed a SSD in my rig and noticed that the windows rating for my graphics dropped significantly after the install.

Before the install, my disk data transfer rate was the lowest at 5.9 and the graphics and gaming graphics were in the 7s. After the install, the dish data transfer was rated at 7.7 and my graphics and gaming graphics were 5.9 and 5.6 respectively.

What happened?

Happened to me when I added mine a while back. I did a wipe of the drivers then reinstalled. Fixed mine up.

Anyways WEI is a bad way to gauge performance. Run a true benchmark and comprare to about what others are getting on the same card

You were probably running something else while it was testing, one overkill example would be furmark. Therefore, restart and run the test again

Hope that solves your problem. Or maybe you were doing a different overclock?

Because when my windows experiance drops but nothing changes, I totally worry????

Since when is the windows index any indication of anything? If you have a drop in FPS in a game then you should start to worry.

sorry, it just gets really old when people look at the windows index as an indication of their hardware performance. I mean look at bench marks, they take a lot of time to run and they show you actual performance numbers, windows index takes almost no time to run and gives you are random number that could mean anything. sorry for that.

^ I'm with this guy, windows performance index is a joke.
