Multiple Unicore clients vs 1 SMP client

Thread Starter
Lets say if I run 4 or more unicore clients which each gets ~300 PPD and I finish them very quickly and I do 1 SMP client which i get 10k-13k PPD which takes a little time to do, will my overall points go up fast by running multiple unicore clients at a fast rate vs 1 SMP client at a slow rate?

The one smp client will be much better. The unicore clients do not net your nearly as many points as a smp client. The reason the smp take longer is because of the size of the WU which correlates to the number of points you get for completing it.

This. SMP WU's get bonus points, where as (to my knowledge) unicore WU's do not.

Both of the above are correct. SMP will mop the floor with the unicore clients.
