Compression Elbow - Page 3

If your fittings do not fit, you need to RMA the blocks as all current EK revisions will space 1/2 ID 3/4 OD compression fittings properly. Primary advantage of a rotary is the ability to adjust tubing orientation without the fitting unthreading. As it relates to unbridged GPU blocks, rotaries negate the need for an extender to clear the PCB/backplate if compression are being used. Disadvantages include higher cost and possbily higher failure rates (this is up for debate with the latest Bitspower revisions).

Not sure what these rotaries are but if they're the same thing as Bitspower G1/4" Thread 1/2" ID x 3/4" OD Dual Rotary 45-Degree Elbow (Black) then I am planning on picking 6 up just in case something goes wrong.

I leave no margin for error! Go me!

I am planning on going for the Tygon Silver Antimicrobial at this point. I'm not really concerned with looks but more performance.

EDIT: Perhaps if the GentleTyphoon's were solid black instead of white/black, I might consider going for looks, but otherwise I'm not worried about it right now :/

Tygon make great tubing, don't rely completely on the anti-bacterial properties of it though, I'd get a silver kill coil aswell, just to be sure.

So this tubing with these compressions. Also, here's the elbows.

Try not to intall too many 45 fittings as they tend to reduce flow rate (particularly at the res and pump).

Only problem I'll have is if they don't fit

Only issue may be the bottom port hub of the EK-Multioption RES X2. The lip may prevent standard compressions from threading down completely. Rotary compressions should clear the lip. Contact EK at info@ekwaterblocks.com to verify. Or perhaps an EK-Multioption RES X2 user would be so kind as to chime in...
