Yep when I saw 44c at (what I thought was) 4.7 GHz that seemed a little too good for just your ordinary budget cooler. Now it is 73 on the hottest core at 4.8 GHz but at this same setting before I did the reseat it was 10c hotter at 83, so I would say that something was wrong the first time but this seems more accurate. Still hotter than I would like but I can't expect much... I would have been happy at 4 GHz even let alone 4.8 almost 5.
