Minimal bubbles stuck on top of the res

Thread Starter
I've bleeded my loop about 2 weeks ago i still have some minor bubbles stuck on top of the res. The bubbles don't interfere with the pump but they don't seem to want to bleed. Would this affect my temps/ loop? Thanks

well, i would not think so. as long as it does not affect the flow of the water i dont think it will affect your temps, although i am not sure wheater it will affect your flow or not, i cant tell that because i have never watercooled so..

It's normal. Getting all the air out of a system takes a lot of creativity, and is ultimately not worth the effort because as soon as you do, it's time to break your loop to add a part, clean, change coolant... It will not affect your efficiency to have a few spectator bubbles in your res.

Thanks. There are like maybe 5-6 bubbles on the top but everything else has been bleeded out.

Power system down. Use an object of your choosing to pop the air bubbles. Power system up.

Using every technique in the book (and I work on hydraulic systems from time to time at work) I have found it very difficult to completely get out all the bubbles from my loop, like yourself, any entrained air (air bubbles so small that they salute into the water), like a cola and co2, as the air accumulates/conditions change (in the res there is less agitation/chance for air to combine, not to mention some possibility for condensation), you will get those bubbles, depending on your setup depends on how easy or hard it is to exchange that air for fluid... top of the res is better than down in the pump any day of the week... and long story short, I wouldnt worry about it, unless your getting noise/drawing the air into the loop.
