[Hexus] Intel appoints rap star ‘director of creative innovation’ - Page 4

Anyhoow I dislike the Black eyed pees so it's not going to make me buy Intel. I like Intel and Will I Am (stupid name) suits them. When will Metallica endorse a PC product? Never!

Edit: great post above me. Empire of the sun (the second guys) are huge in Australia, the robot guys would suit Intel perfectly.

Maybe AMD can get Marilyn Manson.

This isn't about CPUs! AMD are great value for $ for gaming! Unless you're obsessed with pointless benchmarks.

Funny you should mention that, because I'm actually going to do that lol.

I'm still trying to find out where it says that Intel hired him for marketing purposes. Granted, you don't hire ANYONE for your company that you don't expect them to make you more money, but this just looks like an advising position. How does this move affect any of the performance gains/losses from Intel's product line? None I believe. So why is this such a gripe? From what I read, this guy is suppose to be the crossroad between technology and mainstream media, here in lies his purpose.

Huge thumbs down.

Anyone who listened to the Black Eyed peas when they came out hates them now because they've sold out hundreds of times over. Wait, I guess it all makes sense then.

The Black Eyed Peas are a product and this is just a creative commercial.

Let me let Bill Hicks say it again:
*language and genius ahead*

It's like Lady Gaga being the PR director for Polaroid... It's just bringing a new perspective to marketing.

LoL is she? That's different i guess, especially since she's not a producer like Will.I.Am

If Madonna can "produce" material, Lady Gaga can too I'm sure.
