Well you'll of course get DX11 which is really nice for new games like BFBC2 and Metro 2033. On the other hand 9800+ was high end in the 9k series. So I say wait till you can affrod 470 or similar AMD card (like 6950 or 6800 series)

Grab a 1GB GTX460, and you'll be able to max all those games, with the exception of metro 2033, you can't run AA and that. you will get 4xAA maxed out at your res easy, 60FPS. Team fortress 2, expect it in the 100s

@OP.. Maybe you REALLY want to buy new, but I pay pretty close attention to prices and you can get a 460 1gb open box for the price that you have the 460 768mb listed at. I have NEVER had a problem with an open box item. Even if there was an issue, newegg offers a 30 day return policy. Just a suggestion
