I know Halo and Duke are on the PC, but (specifically halo) is pretty much BRANDED with console on it. I don't care *if* its on PC.

Sorry, but once again, its hard to take you seriously.

Its cheaper for me.

$199 for a brand new 360(Or $99 used) + $10-$22/month for Gamefly + $39/year for XBL = $500 max...

That's because you're doing it wrong. Plenty of modded 360's playing online game....

And I had 2 360's that never gave me a problem. what's your point?

Blu ray was obsolete at launch? HD DVD was obsolete?

The TV that you would own regardless of the console?

So if you would pay $1000 for a non-gaming rig and it takes $500 to add in gaming, then your gaming portion of the rig was only $500
So subtract the cost of a $1000 Blu ray player from a PS3 at launch and you profited since you didn't have to buy a blu ray player? Subtract $100 for the DVD player that you don't have to buy since you have a 360?
If we're going to play this subtract X amount of money for stuff you would have bought regardless PC will clearly lose.

It is. It will never be able to play games as good as a pc that's a fact.
I own a PC, a PS2 and a 360 and my PC destroys my 360 but how else can i play FF XIII?

So yes console gaming is cheaper by a large margin. my 360 was cheaper than 1 of my videocards.

IF you want to look at it that way fine. But I mean it has a sound story, awesome gameplay, amazing visuals, and basically everything at it's core is awesome. Though I have to admit it gets repetitive......

Uncharted: Most cliche game ever... The first mission on the second one is so boring. Everything bad happens to the guy, it's like, oh I wonder if this bar will break if I jump to it, oh yup it did, time to shimmy over to the next one. Oh man the door fell off quick grab something. Oh I finally got to the top of the train BUT OH WAIT! ITS FALLING RUUUUUUUUUUN...

Possibly to first build character and suspense maybe? If everything bad happens to the guy but yet he still manages to escape than it shows that Drake is of course AN ADVENTURER, and you should expect more scenes like this!

and the snow monsters? lol seriously?

Have to admit this was retarded......

Console gaming is for console gamers and if they like that sort of thing good for them. PCs are more expensive but do more and can be used for other stuff like work!

Also... What was the mid-range hardware when 360 launched in 2005?

7800GT and a Pentium D/Athlon FX 64?

Is anyone still gaming on this?
