This is terrible discovery. Imagine what will happen in all the car accidents when all of these unbreakable windows go flying everywhere decapitating and crushing everything in their path -- or the hurricane-proof glass that's stronger than the materials holding any house together flying around at 80 MPH. The end is nigh. Nigh, I say!

Cars obviously won't use them. Have you ever realized the front window is different then side/rear? There's a big reason for that and car companies arnt that dumb....

If cost went down, why wouldn't a car company used more robust front windows? Chipped glass cost money.

How about a convertable with a front window without a frame?
Once again...

Oh I didn't realize that

That would look cool without having a frame but unless they are more rigid then steel, I rather keep my head. The A-Pillars are the most important structure for safety so whatever they use, it better be good. I am alive today because of the good design in the MR2-Spyder, which I rolled 2-3 times. MR2-Spyders don't have roll bars either
