I was wondering what barbs i should use with this tubing. Im new to watercooling other than the h50 also is there any point in investing in compression fittings over barbs.

Thanks for helping me out

If you want barbs I suggest 1/2 barbs with 7/16 tubing.

People usually do same size tubing for compressions, and one/two size bigger barbs for their tubing.

Be careful 1/2 tubing can easily slip off 1/2 barbs have the zip ties/clamps ready.

Edit: Thought I was editing my post and not making a new one

No. Just use distilled water with ptnuke. Non-conductive coolant is a scam.

If you're using 1/2" tubing with 1/2" barbs, you'll need to ensure you have hose clamps.

Correct.

But I'll never buy 1/2" x 3/4" tubing again. The Tygon 3/8" x 1/2" I've been using recently is a million times easier to work with, and a simple zip tie is more than enough to keep it on my barbs.

I use 1/2" (13mm) hose and 1/2" barbs with these clamps http://www.chilledpc.co.uk/shop/prod...oducts_id=1316

Never had any trouble.
