For gaming purposes, I'd get a gtx560 or a 6950. I'd also overclock the q6600 to 3.0+Ghz and get a new kit of 2x2gb DDR2. This setup will run any game quite nicely.

@spinejam
Thanks for the info but I want to stay away from overclocking since I'm not good at it. I don't want to experiment for now of course I would like to learn but I want to leave it stock.

I can't build a new PC for now since the prices are different here. And I have to go from store to store just to get it. And some stores don't have the item. Plus I need a new true rated power supply. I feel like my power supply isn't that good also not true rated.

Overclocking isn't at scary as people make it sound. Figure out what the maximum Temps and Volts are for your processor then give yourself a comfortable buffer and you'll be fine. As long as you don't push those two things, the worst that will happen is you'll have to remove the bios battery for a second to reset the settings.

You'll probably ok to upgrade the Video card to the 6850. As far as the power supply goes, I did a quick estimation here and it shows you need at least a CONTINUOUS 430Watts. I couldn't find the continuous power output of the thermaltake 550w, but you shouldn't need to go too much higher than that.

I agree that a 6970 is not needed
I would get a single core GPU solution in the make of your choice and use the extra cash to pick up a P45 socket-ed board for some major OC action on that quad

a memory upgrade to faster DDR2 or even DDR3 would also improve game performance
depending on the games you play

Star Craft 2 is heavily CPU dependent, a specially in a large battle scene

for a mother board try to find one with an 8 pin CPU power plug,
like a Gigabyte EP45-UD3P or R for DDR2 or the UD3L for DDR3

@slickwilly
@pocketdrummer

Thank you both for the inputs.
I'm learning and getting close to what I should get. I think I would go for the 6870 instead of the 6850. Cos it won't cost so much also the performance is better at stock.

One more thing. I don't want to buy something that brings me back or pushes me back. For example another motherboard for my Q6600 or a DDR2 RAM. Since my motherboard only supports DDR2 and if I'll buy a DDR3 RAM I need a new motherboard. I just want to buy the things I can use it with newer parts in the future for example if I have a 6870 and a true rated power supply now I can just move up to Sandy Bridge or what so ever. Sorry for being so annoying or demanding. Just curious if I have chances on getting these results.

Added more info. Here is the seller I can buy from. My budget is 20,000pesos you can already see the prices posted in his sales. http://www.tipidpc.com/useritems.php?username=mattsl
or either from this seller. http://www.tipidpc.com/useritems.php...elizamaeflores

I only suggested a new P45 mother board because of the higher FSB it can achieve
compared to the P35 chip

Also your DDR2-800 unless it will OC will hold you back on a CPU OC and you will want to OC your Q6600 if you want to see the true potential of a 6000 series video card
