TV for monitor or?

Hey guys, trying to recover some goods back for myself since my X-GF cleaned me out when we broke up (took all my stuff from our apartment that I had owned before I even met her)

some of those things are

PC
TV
Monitor

Well I'm staring at all my PC parts but now I need a monitor for it once I get it pieced together, Should I just buy a TV instead and use it as a monitor?

It would be really nice to have a TV again heh, only problem is if I buy a TV i know I'd want a 46" or bigger again and I don't think thats practical for gaming? maybe im wrong

I'm not a complete performance junky, it wouldn't have to look perfect, just good and not blurry and what not.

so...

buy a 24"- 27" monitor? Which one I wonder? (budget would probably be 400$ max but I'd prefer to stay in the 200-250 range

or Buy 27"-32" (somewhere in there) TV

or buy like a 46" Sony bravia or samsung TV or something?

If I opt to buy a TV I'd be willing to spend more money.

First off, call that girl and get your **** back!

look for open box, or good deals on newegg for a 32 or 37 or 42" LCD TV with 1080p as they run 1920 x 1080 resolution. then they'll look good and you can game.

I just bought a 1080p 120 Hz 32" LCD TV on newegg. I might try it out for a monitor myself.

she took about 25k worth of stuff from me

46" samsung tv
King size bed
couch
entertainment center
microwave
coffee maker
Xbox 360
ps3
Wii
PC+ monitor
all my movies (blu-ray) etc
all my games

etc etc etc

since we were both on the lease cops wouldn't do anything, said I had to sue her.

talked to lawyer, lawyer said small claims only goes up to 7500$ here and he said its almost impossible to get people to pay even after the judgement is out (she's a lazy welfare biotch) so no job to take money from (She used to be a stripper) so that tells you something

so district court was the other option, to get full value back, but said its same difficulty to actually get the money.

as far as actually getting the stuff back

(bed yuck)
(couch yuck)
and she either trashed sold or hid my electronics.

oh yeah..I sold my snowmobile to try to help support her and her kid (Yamaha Nytro RTX anniversary edition) God I loved that thing

Sold my truck - 2006 F-250 6.0L diesel 4x4 with a 9" lift and 37" tires and audio system inside

and when we broke up she took out a restraining order on me (to fk with me) since she knew I was a hunter and then I couldn't possess guns for a year

and she called and filed a fake complaint with my job ( I met her as a customer before we started dating so I did have business with her) she used that and said we were dating before and she never did any business with me...getting me fired.

oh yeah, she also fraudulently used Bank card to pay bills with (she must have copied my numbers down at some point) but since my bank refunded the money apparently its not a crime (so the police said) and would investigate it (but wouldn't do squat)

So awesome stuff

But w/e life goes on

I think I'm leaning towards buying a TV instead of a monitor.

If you're both on the lease, go into the apartment and take your frakking stuff back.

you must have missed the part about the restraining order

It was delivered to me one day after she filed for it and it also had a contingency in it that I could not go to our residency until she was gone.

by the time she was gone, so was all my stuff.

Nothing I could have done without going to jail

she planned it out

I tried to get a police officer to come with me to collect my things

but he said we needed her permission to enter even with him there

she wouldn't consent, and told the officer, that I had already removed my belongings

( I didn't even have my clothing out of there) Just what I was wearing, had to go buy a couple things with what little money I had left, I had to borrow work uniforms because they were all in my house.

believe me, i tried everything, I have a 2000$ lawyer bill to prove it.

I was stupid, and chasing ass, I was ready to run i just showed my cards to fast.

huge mistake, lesson learned

back to the TV debate lol

She'd have to own a car to blow up

her's broke down and she left it somewhere for months I guess until it got towed and never claimed it, she abandoned the vehicle.

Sorry, I assumed the restraining order would only apply to her person (meaning you could go in while she wasn't there).

You can charge her with identity theft and fraud if she used your credit cards without permission. Those are federal pound me in the ass type crimes right there.
