Today i noticed that my pci link width seems to be stuck at 4x. My board supports 16x and my graphics card is in the top slot. I undid my OC and it was still at 4x. How do i fix this ?

Could be PCIe power savings, try disabling that under your advanced power options.

I remember from another member @ TPU that sometimes this can be caused by dirt and whatnot being on the highlighted parts below (right above the PCIe connector). Clean those off, reseat the card, and see what happens.

i had a problem similar to this which was rectified by removing the card and blowing out dust/dirt from the PCIe slot
