Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) is a new version of the Android platform that is designed from the ground up for devices with larger screen sizes, particularly tablets. It introduces a new “holographic” UI theme and an interaction model that builds on the things people love about Android — multitasking, notifications, widgets, and others — and adds many new features as well.

Definitely a LOT of features i would like to see implemented on the mobile (handset) platform, especially the handling of the Camera software, as well as media.

According to Andy Rubin (android head) and Mattias Duarte (New head of design who had the biggest say in the new UI/UX) both phones and tablets are headed this way.

I'm particularly excited for the hardware acceleration.
