Abyssus with updated firmware ?

i ve heared that the razer abysuss firmware was updated. is it true ? are there no jitter or prediction problems

i dont think the abyssus has on board memory, therefore no firmware update is possible.

Unless Razer started shipping out new models with an updated SROM.

ah
its such a great mouse . no one here who can say if its jitter and preiditcion problems on cloth pads were fixed ?

can't help, I have an original Abyssus and only use hard pads, sorry frown.gif

really is a shame Razer didn't include updatable firmware for mice like the Abyssus. Heck, the Salmosa and DB3G could have greatly benefitted from it as well as they're stuck with prediction on while the original DA could be updated to have it turned off...

I asked razer about this when they released the abyssus mirror edition. They replied saying that nothing was changed besides the surface material. That was a while ago though. The only way to know for sure is to get a hold of someone at razer who knows what hes talking about, good luck.

i think if they d really have fixed the jitter, preidiction they d have announced it i guess since its good for razer. versions of the abyssus without any problems are a big hoax to me until someone can 100pro say if its true.
