New PSU recommendations?

Thread Starter
I'm currently in the process of upgrading my rig, and I'm pretty sure my Diablotek 500w PSU is not gonna hold for even a day.

My "to-be" rig:
Q9550 @ 3.6-4GHZ
OCZ Platinum DDR2 - 800mhz (gonna OC for CPU OC)
F3 1TB Samsung SATA HDD
GA-EP45-UD3P
Hyper212+ Push/Pull (still deciding on fans)
2 140mm case fans
3 120mm case fans
DVD Drive
XFX Radeon 4890 OC

If my current PSU can't hold, what are your recommendations? I'm stuck between getting a 650w and a 750w. Budget is $100. I really want to get a PSU quick so I can start my new setup.

Edit: I will also most likely be doing a CF with another 4890 in the future. Also, modularity might be nice.

More than enough. 650W would be silly, let alone 750W.

An easy recommendation for this unit. It's a solid performer; and it's got a more than optimum price on it.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I will most likely be doing a CF with another 4890.
@Shub 520w? Not what I was expecting. I would want a little more headroom, because 520w seems awfully close.

I should edit my post again.

Edit: How about these?:

Antec makes a 620w model as well.

Will it be sufficient enough to last another GPU and/or CPU upgrade?

520W isn't awfully close, you'll be pulling less than 400W from the wall, meaning even less from the PSU itself. Considering CPU power consumption isn't exactly on the rise, it'll easily last through a CPU upgrade, and it'll power the majority of GPUs on the market.
If you don't believe me, then get an Antec TP-650 or an XFX 650W. The Neo Eco 620 is fine but I think a PSU in the 600+W range should have 4 PCIe connectors, which the Neo Eco 620 does not.

The Earthwatts 650 isn't a "real" 650w because of it's lower than normal 12v capacity.
Normally a unit will have all but 50w of it's total capacity made up by the 12v rail.
So a 650w unit would have 600w of power on the 12v rail or more.

For $60 After Rebate, your best option is the XFX XPS 650w

400-450w is fine for one 4890... 550-600w for two. I would just get the Neo ECO 620 and be done with it. If you want modular then the Antec TPN-650.
