Doesn't show BIOS option.

Thread Starter
After getting everything installed on my new desktop I am ready to start Overclocking a bit. When I restart the computer I wait to see the option to press ' key ' ( f1 generally ) so that I can go into my motherboards bios.

For some reason it is not letting me, I have used this motherboard before but for some reason it isn't showing me that screen.

Are there any ways around this?

you try just spamming f1 or dlt (thats what it is on some other mobos) while its booting up?

Call MSI and ask them. If they cannot help you and what they tell you to do fails, RMA the board. If you dont fare to do such a thing try the delete button, or other F-keys. Try googling this problem. I use Biostar and ASUS for my rigs. My last MSI was in an HP from back in the early millennium. I think it was the Delete Key that got me into the Bios. Maybe the F-8 Key. it has been so long.

Mine does this all the time, If you power it on it will be black until the windows splash screen, Which is a matter of 7 seconds. I just listen for the beep and start hitting "Delete" over and over and it loads into the bios. I think all MSI are "Del"
