What do you guys think of my gaming build?

So, I tried to make a public NewEgg wish list but I searched for it after doing so and it didn't show up so I'll list the pieces:

Case: Rosewill THOR Gaming ATX Full Tower Computer Case
Mobo: ASRock P67 Extreme4 LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA
CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz
GPU: SAPPHIRE 100311SR Radeon HD 6970 2GB 256-bit GDDR5
PSU: SeaSonic X Series X-850 (850w) (SeaSonic X750 Gold 750W)
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 1600(G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 12GB)
SSD: Intel X25-M SSDSA2MH120G2K5 2.5" 120GB
HD: Western Digital AV-GP WD7500AVDS 750GB

OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 1-Pack for System Builders - OEM
Screen: ASUS VH242H Black 23.6" 5ms HDMI Full 1080P Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 1000:1 (ASCR 20000:1) Built in Speakers

So, what do you guys think of this build? The total comes to ~1800.

I've a few questions if anyone can answer them:

1) Can I use 3x4GB (triple channel) RAM with my dual channel mobo? (I suspect not)
2) Is 750w enough for two 6970's? I plan on getting another.

The biggest thing for me is silence and power, I don't mind a little noise but not too much (I'm not interested in using liquid cooling). I'm wondering how this system will cope? I like the fans in the case, I imagine they'll keep things quite cool, even with two GPUs.

Nope. You need dual channel ram for that one.

Whats your budget?

You can't have triple channel ram on 1155, I would also switch the hard drive to a Samsung F3 Spinpoint. Cheaper and more space.

Well, the cheapest I can possibly get without compromising upgradability, and quality (quality, I.E, runs cooler, more stable, better fans, etc.). I'll swap the RAM out with a new one.

I'd say no more than 2k without the screen, that's my max I think.

I'm looking for something which is going to be dead silent though, as well as be rather quick (I've found lower sized drives do that better). This will store all my games / steam games, so I need it to be kind of fast, not necessarily in seq read/writes but in randoms. Silence, is very important though.

I need 12 =P I turn off my paging file which forces everything to stay in RAM, need at least 12 for that. I'll grab a 850w PSU then.

What's a scythe GT? I looked it up on NewEgg and didn't see any product with that name.

Haha, neverrrr! I need at least 12GB =P and I can't stand a multi-monitor setup, I prefer one big screen but don't have the money for a 30" right now.

They might be, but I'm pretty happy with the 6970. I'd rather it be a little faster, particularly if I get two. 2 6970's are very close to, or on par with 2 GTX 580's I've been told.

My recommendation would be to go with a better case like the haf x or the obsidian 700 or 800 d for full atx. Rosewill are decent I was using them when I first started building rigs but antec, corsair, and cooler master make better cases and are in the same price range.

Also the wd black 750 drives are extremely loud and not worth the extra money. I have one and regret purchasing it. I would suggest a samsung spinpoint f3 tb as mentioned earlier. Great drives for the price.

I switched for the 800D and it looks good, do you think it'd cool better than the other case? I was told that bigger fans are better because they are quieter and push more air compared to smaller ones. The Rosewill had several ~220mm fans... but the 800D's features sounds like it'll end up cooling everything better and be quieter.

This isn't a wd black 750 is it? It's a 750GB WD green power quiet drive... is that what a WD black is?
