Final revision on my build

Thread Starter
Bought everything!
And now.
Behold

REX MACHINA!

My build as I have planned it so far:
CPU+GPU: Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge+XFX HD-687A-ZNFC Radeon HD 6870 $434.99
Motherboard ASRock P67 Extreme4 LGA 1155 Intel P67 $152.99
RAM/Memory recycled from old PC G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 SDRAM 1333
Case+PSU NZXT Phantom ATX Full Tower Computer Case + NZXT HALE 90 HALE90-650-M 650W $229.98
Hard Drive SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB $59.99
CD/DVD Burner LG Black SuperMulti Drive $15.99
CPU Cooler Noctua NH-D14$89.99
Optional Fan 140mm NZXT FN-140RB 140mm Case Fan$8.99
Wireless Adapter TP-LINK PCI Express Wireless AdapterNow: $19.99
Total so far: ~$1027 After shipping, no taxes, before rebate

I have another set of RAM: OCZ gold 4gb(2x2) 1333mhz which I plan on giving to my friend along with this PC should I keep it or buy another and better set of ram later on?

The current CPU cooler I wish to purchase is currently out of stock should I:
A) Wait for the CPU cooler to get back in stock then purchase all the components at once.
B) Buy the current build, wait for the cooler to be in stock, build PC once received all parts.
C) Buy the current build, use stock cooling, install the cooler once it arrives
D) Purchase the cooler from elsewhere
E) Other(please specify)

EDIT:
my budget is $1100
I'm running on a 1600x900 Monitor
Will anything bottleneck?
I WILL be Overclocking the CPU but not so certain about the Video card.
Also I don't really like amazon as they: Charge tax, slow shipping, personally feel inferior compared to Newegg.
Also I will call Newegg tomorrow to see when they'll have it in stock. What should I do if say, It'll be in stock in 1-3 day from now? (refer to the choices)

Update: Newegg representative just told me there's no ETA on the cooler since it's a new item. She also said typically a item that's out of stock will be so for ~2 weeks. I think I'm just going to buy the other parts today.

I changed my Cooler from the C14 to the D14

Buy the CPU cooler from somewhere else. Wait times for this to be in stock at Amazon.com is like another 2-4 weeks. So many people buying Sandy Bridge PC's it's ridiculous that things are going out of stock.

E) very nice setup u have listed. I would use the stock cooler for now and put the extra money towards a the i7-2600k or higher gpu.

From a price-conscious perspective, the Noctuas are overpriced for a mere 5*-15* Celcius improvement over something like the more affordable CoolerMaster 212+, but the argument is a moot point being this is an enthusiast overclocking forum

You might notice that im using a Noctua in my sig rig, but that's only because i was able to get it for $40 locally

Also consider looking at Amazon's prices, cuz paying for tax+shipping suxxx

Meh, he's in NY, he doesn't have to worry about NewEgg taxi fares like us Californians. They got rid of the NY taxes for the Egg in like 2008 I think. Everyone else in like TN, NJ, & CA still pay taxes. I go shop at like TigerDirect, Directron, and Amazon to keep them in check. Most of the East Coast PC shops closed because of tough competition from the Egg. They practically have almost everything you need, pretty much almost a monopoly. The Egg is like my last stop shop.

No real bottlenecks, but the biggest improvement would be from going SSD. For what it's worth, based on a windows 7 performance index, the hard drive will be your weakest link scoring around 5.9

Unless u absolutely need to buy brand new, consider looking at the for sale thread here.

Selling/Buying on this forum is well regulated, u can find some amazing deals. Hell, half my sig rig is second-hand (cpu, gpu, 1tb black, noctua, sound card, fan controller). everything runs rock solid @ rock bottom prices if u put in the time.

Haha no thank I'm not ready to go SSD yet but besides I can go SSD later on(it's just too expensive and not worth the price in my opinion). Also I updated my post telling I'm running on a 1600x900 Monitor. My rig SHOULD be able to run just about any game at max settings right?
Oh and also this sounds really immature but I REALLY want that C14 since I always wanted a Noctua ever since I laid eyes upon one. Also I'm a Germanophile(yes I just made that) and Noctua is Austrian so go figure And I'm getting really OCD about the cooler like I'm so OCD right now that I will have nightmares about it. /end immaturity
