ASUS Rampage III Formula - Looking For A Starting Point

Thread Starter
I want to start pushing my system a little bit heavier now that I've owned it for about two months but since this is my first venture into OC'ing, I'm not sure where to begin.

I've been taking a look at some BIOS configurations that I've seen posted here and there but they are all for 4Ghz+ OC's. I will be happy just to get to 3.8Ghz stable and be able to game on it for multiple hours at a stretch.

Can anyone provide me a good starting point for settings and voltages in the BIOS by looking at my system specs listed in my signature? If that's too complicated, then are there any OC guides for the i7-950's? I see a few for the 920's, but I'm not sure how far off the OC'ing will be between the two.

Also, I'm trying to get some recommendations for a stable SLI configuration. I've been having some BSOD's in games recently that I have a sneaking suspicion are related to my SLI setup and perhaps a lack of proper power settings for it.

Thanks for any help in advance!

its really easy to get 4ghz on a 950, although it wont perform as well as a 920 at 4ghz, but its easy.
