Koolance Bay Reservoirs

Thread Starter
Hello water aficionados. I saw these new bay reservoirs listed on Koolance's site a few weeks ago and they seem very interesting. Koolance already released a dual D5 pump bay res (RP-450x2). These new ones can run one/two D5s (RP-452x2) or one/two DDCs (RP-402x2) Any one getting one? Any one have the first 450x2 res and like it?

Just to spark some curiosity:

RP-402x2 (for DDC pumps):

RP-452x2 (for D5 pumps)

***on a side note, Koolance is no longer listing the RP-450x2 on their site, though its still available:

Looks like you can use bitspower compression fittings with the new ones too, I know the RP-450x2 needed barbs or koolances own fittings.

Edit: Looks like the DDC version will work with comp fittings, not so sure about the D5 one tho.

Too bad they didn't make a more plain one with no pump integration... not everyone uses Laing pumps.

I have the 450x2. I like it, but only downside is you'll have to use normal fittings or angled fittings.

Sucks because the 452x2 came out like 2 weeks after I got the 450x2. frown.gif

I'm going to be all over the 402 when it's released! I like how you can use it as a dual reservoir or a single reservoir with one or two pumps smile.gif Awesome.

I would love to see it in my system but cant honestly justify the cost
