The following items are what I'm going to buy:

http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/Pu...umber=19149087

The SilverStone is probably overkill, I'm just not sure which Power Supply I should get for the build.

Note: I will be going to overclock the processor as much as I can. As for the RAM, I will probably overclock it a bit too.

Looks like you havent noticed that there is 2x (GTX 580) in the WishList, so yes I will be running them in SLI.
I'm gonna be running GTX 480 SLI and the Silverstone ST1000-P is my choice, don't really need to go all the way to 1500W unless you're going Tri-SLI.

I guess 1000W is enough for GTX 480/580 SLI, but will it let me overclock the processor/ram without any problems aswell?

I will be probably going to overclock the processor up to 5.0ghz if I can...

PS: Just checked the ST1000 and it doesn't have an ON/OFF switch either, just like the 1500W power supply.
I don't see why not, even with heavy OC CPU and GTX 480 SLI I've seen people report that their systems pull from 850-900W max so you should be fine with your GTX 580 SLI with an OCed CPU.

A good 850w is enough for 580 SLI. I 1k w like mine can do tri sli by the hair on it's chin.

And I know about the I/0 thing and to be honest kinda sucks. Harder to jump PSU and ground yourself using it. But if you have a power strip that has a on off switch it doesn't really matter.

1500W is insane and a huge waste. 850W would run that setup great with room to spare, overclocks included.
By the way it's kind of a pity to get only a WD Caviar Blue hard drive. Get a Caviar Black or a Samsung SpinPoint F3. Nice and fast.
you can run quad sli on 1500w it's probably close to what your house is able to give you to your room so it's an overkill .

First of all 1500w is just pointlessly overkill. As you have a pretty big budget I'd go for a Seasonic X-850 or AX850 - whichever is cheaper.

Secondly please stop recommending the TX750, people.
