I think this is stupid. 99.9999% of the time a parent with a brain can tell whether or not a game would be bad for their kid(s) based on the game title and front cover alone.

I agree with you about the drugs, but I think most people would agree that video games don't cause violent behaviors, so comparing the two isn't fair.

If a parent wants to buy their kid a violent game, they're going to. I doubt that many of the purchases are because a parent didn't know what a rating meant or that a game was violent.

It's also been proven that driving games cause people to be more violent than shooting games, yet they will have no warning label, not being rated T or above. As previously mentioned, this isn't good science. If there's contradicting evidence, how can you draw a solid conclusion?

Source about driving games making you aggressive.
