That's a very small boost, don't be afraid to hit 700MHz on stock voltage.

What drivers/stability test utilities are most people here using?

I just got this 470 yesterday and im testing it but ATI Tool artifacts out the wazoo, FurMark hangs my machine, OCCT restarts my machine and EVGA OC Scanner doesnt seem to detect anything at all and runs perfectly. None of my games have any issues at all, BC2 ran fine for well over 3 hours yesterday as well as EVE and AoC. If it were really messed up that badly id assume the games would be miss-behaving as well ;\\

Does it at stock clocks and 780|1560 1800m so im at a loss (275.33 drivers).

I'm on 275.33 without problems, but apparently this doesn't go for everyone. Just try if 270.61 does anything.

To be honest, OCCT's GPU test is all you need to test initial stability. I used to run hours of Furmark/Vantage/Crysis/games to confirm things, but OCCT is far quicker and better at concluding.

btw, the noise when the fan is above 50% is horrendous with three of them doing in concert
Eh, thats what I get

Does the driver error have to do with it being unsupported? If so you can't fix that, ATI allows the user to adjust tess levels and it can fubar the benchmark so until they work it out all drivers since like 11.2 or something will be unsupported.

If its the "other driver issues" ati is known for, sorry

On the plus side 12k gpu score is probably my max

Best stability test I have ever run are the games installed on your system right now....

Some of the better ones...

Crysis (original or Warhead) are great, BFBC2, DIRT 2 & 3, or really any DX11 games you can find......

Also 3DMark Vantage & 11, and UniEngine Heaven benchmark work great for stability

Its possible that when the driver stopped responding a file became corrupt, that would cause it to suddenly become unstable at stock..

I could do 700/1400 at stock VID (925) but needed 1000 to get to 750/1500 and 1050 for 800/1600..... Temps start getting a bit high on the stock cooling at those clocks so keep an eye on them...
