Oh I plan to get a 660ti for sure. Maybe even SLI them. But for the time being, I figured if I can MAKE 20 bucks while getting a better card than my 550, why wouldn't I? rolleyes.gif

Shoot, when I upgrade I'll give the 470 to my wife.

So far it has been fantastic. Without overclocking it, I can run BF3 at 1920x1080 everything on ultra, motion blur off, and get consistently 60+ FPS. thumb.gif All while keeping at only 80-85c.

Strange. I wasn't able to do that with my 470, lol. Have you ran into any problems with vRAM limitations? I remember I was running BF3 on one map and my game began to stutter.

My trusty 470 is still running at 900 core. Two years later and it still takes all games you can throw at it with a decent frame rate.

No stutters yet. I do have it overclocked a bit, gpu clock to 705 and mem to 1764. CPU is an i5 2500k @ 4.0GHz on air. All in all everything is running smooth and temps are low. Maybe I got a better batched card?

I've GTX470 SC (EVGA)

overclocked GPU clock from 625 @ 751 on stock volt. and it seems OK

Can i make more OC ?
