The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 470 Overclocking Club - Page 83

Wonder why my GTX 470 performs so badly compared to yours? It's at 800Mhz frown.gif

So, I want to overclock my two 470s that are in SLI. But I'm scared to simply because of these temps... Does anyone have any idea how I can lower these? I took apart both of them and blew out the dust.

Other than water cooling them or using "The mod" they run hot, its just what they did. Enjoy the space heater in the winter with them in SLI.

Just bump the clocks and memory without touching the voltage and see what you can find

@rudy88 You can overclock your core clock to 2 GHz when idling but the point is to be stable. Anyway I've got my ASUS with Zotac bios up to 780 MHz STABLE under load.

I have been running at these clocks for a couple of days. Seems stable so far, no crashing or artifacting.
