New loop... I want the best performance possible with the parts listed

Thread Starter
OK so here's my new setup:

CPU: i7 950 (don't think that one needs a link lol)

Motherboard: Asus Rampage III Extreme
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131642

RAM: Corsair Dominator GT 6GB 9-8-9-24 (3x2GB)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145318

GPU: EVGA GTX580
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130587

W/C PARTS:

CPU: Apogee GTZ (everyone knows this guy too)

Motherboard: EK-FB RE3
http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/ekwaekre3ac.html

GPU: EK-FC580 GTX
http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/ekgtxnipl1.html

Res: XSPC Dual 5.25 bay res for 1 D5
http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/xsacdu5refor1.html

Pump: Swiftech MCP-655B

RAD: Swiftech MCR320

I'm also getting some 45 degree rotary fittings for ease of routing.

Now.... I know I can cool all those on just the one pump and rad.... what I'm looking at doing is getting a couple of Y fittings to split the incoming water to go to both cpu and gpu then another Y on the outlets and into the board block.....

otherwise I'll be running pump/res>rad>cpu>gpu>mobo>res>rinse and repeat

I'd like to know if it's worth ~$20 to get the Ys to go:
pump/res>rad>Y>CPU+GPU>Y>board>res

Or if there is some other combination that will work better..... by all means inform me....

I'll be buying all this in the next week or two so I have time to refine the design but the blocks/components are pretty much set in stone

Thanks in advance.....

Oh and as for any missing parts (good you noticed it was not a compete build lol) will be coming from my sig rig.... PSU, 1 of my 260s for physx, HDDs,
of course the rad and cpu block

It is stated in his first post that he is getting new GTX580s to put on water.

Btw, why the Apogee GTZ? The XSPC Rasa should yield better temps and it's pretty cheap.

This. I don't think Y-fitings are good, heard that they reduce flow. I don't think they are necessary in your case anyway

one minor note - if you don't care about noise ignore this - bay mounted pumps, that includes the d5, are loud and cause vibrations - however if you take these pumps and put them on a shoggy sandwich, you won't hear a thing - I have two d5's in serial in my case, on maximum setting, no noise at all.
