Quadrant has been the most popular benchmark tool for quite a while now, even though it’s been obvious for a while that it’s a flawed benchmark tool that tended to give higher score to Snapdragon chips, and lower to others. I think this has been very detrimental to many people who believed, for example, that the Adreno 205 GPU in Snapdragon 2nd gen, is about as good as PowerVR SGX 540, which of course was not true, and many people were fooled by this benchmark tool.

I have an Epic 4G myself. I'm glad to see it performs so well in the graphics test.

I have mine running Froyo and it scored even higher in Smartbench 2010.

My Scores:

Productivity: 1056
Games: 2457

Not at all, I had the iPhone before switching to this one. After trying both, I like Android better.

Just fired up Smartbench 2010 on my overclocked Desire and scored:
Productivity: 1179
Games: 1169

May just swap over to a different ROM for higher overclocking.

Who needs battery life?

Edit: Just got a 1190MHz Kernel, installing..

Old score:

Productivity: 1179
Games: 1169

New score

Productivity: 1220
Games: 1230

Going higher again me thinks.
