elpida hyper ICs in general are nice.
-Only CAS6 Mushkin is Hyper IC based.

-Corsair RAM is rarely Hyper IC based, it's a crapshoot and you need to get in to their REALLY overpriced stuff (not that any of it is priced fairly). The majority of Elpida ICs in Corsair RAM is low end Dominator kits and XMS; it's all Elpida BBSE (same as G.Skill Ripjaws).

-Only Super Talent Chrome/Speed/ProjectX is Hyper based, as well as a few other performance sticks they make.

Best bet for scoring some Elpida Hypers stateside (or in the UK) is scour for ProjectX or use SuperBiiz, Newegg has overpriced but Hyper based HyperX T1's for sale.

Why crappy? Looks good to me though.. And it's Kingston.
IMHO top brands for ram are Kingston, Corsair and G.Skill.

I was not stating that any of those are specifically hyper ICs. My mushkin cas6 1600 6gb (3x2gb) set is I believe.
