First watercooling build...

Thread Starter
So this is my first ever attempt at watercooling. I have been saving for a while, and am really looking forward to it. But, I want to make sure I am going in the right direction, so I am asking for comments on what I am looking to do. This over the top build is to power out frame rates on a 30 inch monitor. My budget is only based on spending money wisely.

Build as it stands now:
Processor: 2600k or 2500k (watercooled with a corsair h70)
Video: 2x 580 (EVGA) - watercooled (black ice SR1 360 rad, RP980k pump/reservoir/fan control, VID-NX 580 blocks)
Audio - Asus Xonar Essence
HDD/SDD: 1TB HDD, 160gb SDD
Memory - 8 gigs of vengeance ram (1600)
Motherboard - Gigabyte P67A-UD7 ATX LGA1155 P67 DDR3 1PCI-E 2PCI Dualbios CrossFireX SLI SATA3 USB 3.0
Case: Corsair 800d
Misc: HighPoint Rocket 620 (was a gift, looks interesting)
Misc: Random Blue ray drive/multi format burner
Misc: Visiontek Killer 2100 Gaming NIC 128MB 400MHZ Gigabit Network Interface Card PCI-E1 (again, another gift, mine as well put it in - I play only online games... soooo)
PSU: 1200 coolermaster silent pro
Monitor: Dell u3011

Watercooling system summary:
Processor: Corsair h70
2x 580: Cooled by a black ice SR1 360, 2x Koolance VID-NX 580 blocks, and a koolance rp980k (should i upgrade to the 1000 - or look at other fan control/pump/reservoir options?).

Questions:
Is my motherboard choice "right"?
Any suggestions on the parts I have chosen for my watercool?
Any fan upgrades recommended for the 800d case and the H70???
Any particular SSD's recommendations?
Any advice on radiator and fan placement?
Any advice on tubing sizes, and other little things I should know?

Thanks in advance!

I say the h70 might be to noisy
I would just do a full water cool setup with fans and pumps and I do like the motherboard or you can also go with an Asus rampage extreme

Well ur system isn't bad at all but I would highly recommend getting a xspc rasa 360 for ur whole loop especially since its ur 1st loop and its highly upgradeable for the future

Not a bad idea. Here's the kit and you could add a couple EK blocks for your video cards. Just add a couple fittings, some biocide, and some different tubing if desired, and you should be good to go.

will the 360 rasa be able to cool both gpu's and the cpu? i've been looking at doing a similar system and trying to figure out the logistics of water cooling it

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll take a look at them =).

As the OP said, will it be enough power and rad to cool all three, or should I also snag a second rad?

I already grabbed an H70, so I think I may just modify the fans on it to quell the noise. I also like the warranty/customer support associated with it =). I've read a couple threads on that, and think I know what to get fan wise to do so, but suggestions are great too.

I think the xspc rasa would be great for the v-cards though.

EK blocks over the koolance ones I take it?

Drop the h70 and just put everything in one loop, your temps will be better and it will be quieter and use less power.

You seem to have picked good parts for the rest of the loop though.

And yes, a 360 is enough to cool everything, but if you have space another 240 would be good between the CPU and GPUs.
