Anyone else realised recently what a money hole a PC can be for no apparent reason?
So, you created a thread on an overclocking site to defend your decision to go against common sense and buy a non-K SB, when most people buy the K for very obvious reasons.

The point of this thread, other than justifying your decision to yourself?

why buy a non-k if there is no difference in price but a HUGE difference in overclocking?

I bought an i7 2600 because I don't overclock and it was cheaper at Microcenter. Very happy with my choice. I come to Overclockers for the good info available other than OC'ing.

Thread Starter
Well. I got mine as part of a combo which basically gave me the motherboard for free. I just wondered if any1 else had 1, or had overclocked it. Also mine is a 45w chip as oppose to 95.
