So tempted to go Tri-Fire

I've had a third 5850 sitting in the checkout basket all day.....gahhhh I hate temptations

Any 3 way 5850 benchmarks floating aroung?

3 Way is a no go. The scaling is horrible. What game can't you run with HIGH and 4x aa?

I thought your board really only supports 2 cards for Crossfire in slots 1 and 3. Anything added to that puts it into hydra mode and performance would very depending on Lucid Hydra driver support. I only read the manual for that board once so I could be wrong.

I have Crossfire running in slots 1 and 4 and Hydra is disabled in the control panel with my 9800GT in slot 5 running PhysX...

HELL YEAH! Mine did too, until my brother's 2 6870s beat my three 5770s. Hence why I have 2 6870s now and a GTX465 for folding.

No sure how you can tell the diff between 60 fps and 80 fps. Not worth it IMO.

More power meens better image quality, Might not notice the extra frames but will notice the difference in image quality as I'll be able to run more AA.
