How long until new SSDs?

Thread Starter
I'm looking at buying a C300, but I'm wondering how long will it be until new SSDs arrive?

I can get the C300 64gb deal for $99.99 or wait.

Corsair has a Performance 3 series, I'm sure ocz has something, and Crucial has the C400's from micron. I'm sure they'll be out Q2 or something.

C400 in the next month or so.
SF-2xxx in the second half of this year.
Intel G3 sometime this year.
Indilinx Jetstream late this year or early next.

Samsung has been slowly improving as well. However, they suck at marketing and communication.

first of all....why wouldn't you want 85GB write? LOL. it'll be a long time until then. second of all...it's the read that matters. 350mb's for read. lol on the pass comment. how often are you planning on writing your SSD? rolls eyes.

Sequential... and you don't do large sequential writes on the OS/app drive. A few MB at very most. Large sequential writes probably make up less than 3% for that usage.

I'd wait a little longer for using SSDs as every day storage. I'm in the market myself for some SSD's for my new build. I read some current and older SSDs haven't fully implemented TRIM functions.. ( http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/sto...nce-and-trim/1 )
