Black border around screen when using HDMI from 5770.

Anyone know how to resolve this? I have to use HDMI because this monitor only has 1 vga and 2 hdmi and the graphics card only has dvi and hdmi.

someone help meeee HAHA

Does your monitor have an auto resize option? otherwise its not being set at the correct resolution...

Open up CCC. Click Desktops and Displays at the very top. Then you should see Scaling options near the middle of the page. Click it and drag the overscan bar all the way to 0%, and you will see no black bars.

this is the 18th time this week i've found someone asking about black borders with hdmi with the problem being overscan settings...there seriously should be a sticky for things like this.
