Will Samsung 32" HDTV (LN32C530F1F) with 2 GTX570's Look Sharp And Crisp Monitor/TV??

I was thinking of picking up this Tv today for my desktop setup.

I'm worried about it being to big and seeing the pixels in 1920x1080.

What do you think?

that would be huge... but I guess it all depends on how far away from it your sitting...
Should be fine as long as your are sitting atleast 1.5 feet away from the screen.

I used my 32" lg 1080p tv for a while before letting my bro use it for his ps3, and i loved it.

Distance is key here, to close and you will see the less clarity, but around two feet distance from tv itself should be fine.

Should you use the HDMI or DVI to VGA input?

the hdmi will let you have sound but might mess up you resolution, and if it doesn't have a dvi then it won't be in hd which is why I stopped using my tv although it might be different for you

Many newer HDTVs have a VGA input as the dedicated PC input. It ensures compatibility but very often limits the resolution to lower than the native resolution of the HDTV. This results in less than optimal image quality.
Looking through that Samsung HDTV's manual appears to be this case.

Therefore, as the TV does not have a DVI input, I suggest you to use one of HDMI inputs, especially the 1st HDMI input (marked as HDMI 1) which sits right next to the VGA input.

HDTV User Manual:

(see pages 10 and 11)

Videos will be as sharp and crispy but text would 'relatively' be less sharp, basically because the pixel size is larger with a larger screen size.

Well I bought the tv tonight, hooked it up through the HDMI first, and it looked horrible. Colors are off, text is very blurry, pixels are very noticeable...

The DVI to VGA adapter to VGA in the TV looks better but the text is still a little blurry, and pixels are still noticeable...Games looks pretty good though... I'm sitting about 3-1/2 feet away from it...

Thinking of taking it back.... idk

Tvs aren't that great with text
Turn sharpness way down. Google AVS 709 calibration disc and go from there. Takes some work, but if you can get it games will look nice and the desktop pretty decent.

If you try HDMI make sure you set the Colour to 16-255 if not in PC mode in the video card control panel. 0-255 if in PC mode.
