HAF X, fan controller but keep LED switch working?

Thread Starter
Hi guys, I currently have an Antec 1200 but don't like the look of it anymore at all, some thumb screws just refusing to go in, and finding it a real pain having to undo lots of them to get the dust filters out and dislike not having tool-less side loading HDD bays, so thinking of buying a HAF X.

I have an NZXT Sentry 2, and would like to control all my HAF X fans with it, and would like to know if it would be possible to have the fans controlled by the controller, but to still keep all the LEDS controlled by the top LED switch? What kind of modification would be needed if any and would it be difficult to control multiple fan LEDS with it?

Thanks

I dont think you need to control fan in HAFX as the 200mm i always have them @ 100% as they are very quite. As far as LED switch is has noting to do with fan controller. If you turn it off the LED turn off if you five the fan 50% power then the LED is 50% as bright.

Not to be rude, but reading that makes me herp derp.

I concur on the sound I think they only run at like 800 rpms, most of the sound is the volume of air they move might wanna bolt down your kids.
