dual motherboard case?

Thread Starter
alrighty, first time posting on this particular board, and forgive me if it isnt quite in the right section, but i figured this would be the best place to ask.

I recently upgraded my system board to what is currently in my sig, and as a result i am left with the former micro board just sitting around doing nothing. I should be getting single core conroe celeron in a few weeks. However, i dont really want to clutter the area with multiple computer cases as i already have 2 other full systems lying around, and as such, i want to get my hands on a dual motherboard case.

Do such cases exist or do i have to make my own, and if they do, where might i get one and how much am i looking at?

Mountain Mods

The option is called "Duality" for the rear panel to accommodate two mb. The U2UFO and the Ascension models have them. Though with the amount of money thrown into the case itself, why not build a mini system or donate it, or sell it. good luck thumb.gif

U2UFO w/ acrylic side panels and duality is $315. As I said, for the uncommon setup you are looking for it will cost you some money why not sell it or build something else using a small case, ?

then you dont have more options. i dont recall any other then presented by wermad.

because im the kind of person who would be crazy enough to slap a pair of low profile GT450s, a overclocked i5, a new power supply, and a 5.25" booster power supply into a low profile computer case.

In other words, i would do it because i could. And the secondary computer would most likely end up being a folding/storage computer and would be linked to the main with a direct gigabit connection.
